Pistol shrimp

Do they any special grade of sand? Plannng on doing an oolitic, sugar fine sand bed but wondering if they will have trouble burrowing.

The burrowing species prefer a mix of sand and shell fragments, coral rubble, small stones, etc. They cannot make good burrows in just sand because it collapses without the other stuff.
