I just bought this live rock from my LFS and im new to saltwater. First tank. day 3. What is this black thing above the polyp? Should I remove this or what is it? Is it decay?

If it's stationary it's probably just a sponge of some sort. If it moves, remove it. (flatworm)

Is this a clear flatworm or something else? About the size of pinky fingernail. Good or bad? Lionfishlair says good if it is clear flatworm but it looks a little different.

In most cases these are just baby bristle worms, so not harmful at all. Also, depending on what kind of fish you have in the tank, they might wind up as food.

Looks like the feeding tentacle of a spionid worm. Harmless as far as i know.

Just saw a couple of these in my refugium and have no clue what they are. What your looking at is the skinny worm looking thing that has a bunch of small clear whisker things coming off the one end. Sorry for the crappy picture but there are two in the photo.
