Place for Corals

Is Oceans Floor still around? I tried callin their # and is disconnect. Im lookin to get some more corals and they always had some nice stuff there. Where else is a good palce to shop?

No - Ocean's Floor changed owners about 9 months ago and then the store closed about 2 months ago. There's been rumors that it may reopen, but not anytime soon. Sea Schor or ShoTank would probably be the best at this point. Midwest Salt Water has some nice stuff although I haven't been to his store yet (in Lake Geneva). Midwest Reef Supply closed their storefront but are still selling online.

Exotic aquatics in algonquin is a good place also they have a large number of different corals and they have a on going sale any frag 30 bucks or less is buy one get one free.

I haven't been to Exotic Aquatics in awhile but I remember it being a decent shop. My favorite shop though is still ShoTank in Mundelein. Matt (owner) is very knowledgable and he always seems to have a great selection of fish and corals plus his prices are better then most.

Thanks for the posts. Im in the market for more exotic Zoa's, not the typical stuff everyone has already. Ive seen in Canada they get some rare stuff never seen here in the states... what gives there? They have better access or just a really good suppliers.

If anyone finds med. to large Zoanthid colonies and wants to split costs and frag/divided them up Im in! Ive been lookin just dont have any connections yet.
