Placement question

I am about to finally order a TS24 for my 280 gallon. I am going to get the magnet holders. My tank is an inwall so the sides and back are both options for mounting. Any opinions on if they are better on the sides pointing at each other, or the back corners angled toward the front?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I placed the order today and they have already shipped. In addition to placement, I would also like some suggestions on what settings to use. I can't wait to get these...I've waited along time.

It is largely trial and error but most people go with back corner to front center. You just have to try it out and find what works for you.

Interval 2, 6 hr interval and 3 sec pulse from 30-100% is the generic recommendation for pump life and natural tide simulation but it is really personal preference and trial and error.

If you use the interval 2 option, do you adjust the power with only the lower knob for each circuit? Normally i have the lower knob set at 30 and the upper knob at 90 for both sides, but i usually have it on pulse. When i changed over to interval, i noticed that the upr knob was not doing anything.??

See my other post, the pumps pulse between the top and bottom knobs unless you are in night mode, in night mode it stays on the bottom knob when the photocell is in a dark area. One pump will idle and the other will pulse in Interval 2.
