Placement suggestions

I just got my 2 6025s today but haven't put 'em in yet. The tank is a 58RR with a center overflow and I'm looking for suggestions on where to put them. My choices are the back glass w/ one on each end facing the front glass or the ends facing each other. Which may be more effective? Also is it better to have them near the surface angling downward or to mount them low behind the rocks? I'm asking because I'd like to hide them as much as possible. Yes, they're nice looking units, but they're WAY bigger than I expected. Thanks for any help.

I have a 58 and placed my pumps in each back corner about 4" from the surface aimed about straight to the front center. I would not place them somewhere that they cannot be accessed for cleaning easily.
