placing a tridacnid on anthelia

I have this huge mat of anthelia coral on the top of my reef. I would like to place a tridacnid in the middle of it

I really don't care if the coral doesn't like it---rather if it is safe for the tridacnid to be placed on top of it

capn, i dont see a problem with the coral stinging the clam but the coral may creep up the shell and irritate the mantle and try to overgrow the clam in time.

i would say the same. these two corals dont really have bad stings but they will try to overtake things.

thanks--I'll keep it trimmed---I have to anyways because it tries to overtake a Korilia 4 that's as high up in the corner as I can place it.
