My wife and I are planning do to our first trip to Hawaii next summer. Mainly going to dive. I'd like to say at a resort on the water where I can snorkel out back as well. Any suggestions on reasonably priced resorts? Dive charters?
Thanks!
Steve

went there a couple years ago. we dove the molokini volcano. as roger said in a previous post, it was cold but the dive boat issued wet suits so it wasn't bad. We took the boat out and had lunch out while diving. Hawaii doesn't have beautiful reefs as you'd see in australia. but they do have beautiful fish. there are many different islands. we were in maui when we did the dive.

The backside of Molokini is one of the best dives I've done :D

Steve,

Water temps typically run low to mid 70's. I was quite cozy in a 3mm, but I'm also used to water in the 60's, and maybe up to about 72 if it's a real toasty summer.

BTW I"m really enjoying the bathwater down here :D
