So I was at the store today and they were selling this for $1.50 so I bought some. It has thin blades that are about 2 in. long. They didn't really know what it was, and I don't either, so I'm hoping someone here does.
Maybe Caulerpa brachypus.. commonly called mini-prolifera or mini-blade. Hard to tell from the pic, but thats my guess. If you get a shot of it in the aquarium it may help, or may prove the ID.
