plate coral Not well

no idea why, but i've had this particular plate coral for several months and it was doing well, target feed, etc. yesterday i noticed spots of white/bleaching...any ideas why this would happen? my other plate coral is doing great...maybe a parasite from a SPS addition about 3-4wks ago? should i dip the plate?

BTW, I would think the plate would rip right through that sps coral, but stranger things have happened. GL.
