very nice pics!! hey clean the glass before u take a pic :)

The particles in the Copperband photo is sand. The clownfish decided it was time to do a little tidying up around the RBTA.

I turned off the pump and the powerheads and waited a few minutes. But I've got a pretty rowdy gang of fishies in there.

Oye, gasero, I would love to take some pics of your rig before you tear it down. Let me know what's good for you.

Awesome. The "free" lens is a Quantaray Autofocus 70-300mm F4-5.6 Zoom (heh heh, listen to me, you'd think I know what the heck I'm talking about), and it has a macro switch. I took a few pics with that later, but I had to stand about 10 feet away from the tank! I want to get a really close shot of some polyps (look out, Jeff), feel free to suggest what settings/lens I should use.

The deal at Ritz/Wolf is $899 with a $100 mail-in rebate, and they throw in the extra lens (now through Sunday). You can get it a little cheaper online, but it doesn't include the extra lens and you have to wait for shipping.

Pedro, the pics look great, especially the accuracy of the colors. Also, congratulations on being the only sane sandsifting goby owner. JOHNNY

pedro for how long de u have that Copperband looks very healthy and happy I want one to :)

6-8 months now I think, got it at Exotic Aquatic. I had a lot of spaghetti worms in my sand. Between the CB and 2 sand sifting stars, they cleaned out my sand. The CB still finds stuff in the rocks and sand to eat, but also eats PE Mysis. Yeah, thank god all my critters seem healthy and happy.

Love the pics, the blue cheeked Goby pic is awesome. Does he throw sand over your corals?? I just added one a week ago and is only now starting to come out!!

No, he stays low when sifting. They do move quite a bit of sand around for their burrow though, so any pieces on the bottom may get buried. All my SPS is up high closer to the lights so no problem.

Here are a couple more pics, these were taken with the zoom/macro lens.

Macro setting from about 8 ft away

Zoom from about 30 ft away

BTW, the blue on his chest is accurate. I put this stuff called Party Pool in my pool that turns the water bright blue, Perry went swimming before the shot was taken.
