Playing with the idea of building a tucson reef website

looks amazing!! Great job! I love the idea of getting a rare frag and growing it out and auctioning it off. thats what FRAG in phoenix does. Specifically this is how it works....

1) A rare frag is grown out by a lead reefer.
2) First cut/split/frag.... goes to another Club Head Reefer (this is the back up frag for all intensive purposes incase the original frag owners tank crashes)
3) The 2nd cut/split/frag goes out for auction.

Its great! They have made some really expensive frags go for like $20 up there like red dragons, candlelight, people eaters. Its pretty awesome!

Can my PICO have a spot. I might be running it in Fl but I am a Tucson native through and through :)

Exactly, also if I sell GFO etc. some of the funds can go to rare frags that can be split for cheap member frags. I am not trying to make money.

i think thats a great way to look at it. Are you selling straight GFO or are you going to be... oh god the words escaped me right now. But revitalizing it or whatever from previously used GFO that no longer works. I have looked into it a few months back. its pretty simple and works!

New gfo im buying it in bulk.

, but I have always wondered about revitalized gfo.

I currently have gfo in 1 pound bags for $19 at my store. BRS is 21.99 plus shipping.

very cool!

Revitalizing it isn't hard. Takes about 2-3 days time and its fairly cheap to do and last just as long as brand new.

Grrrrrrr just noticed I missed the n in southern.
