Hey Kings Fans!

I think it's great that your team made the Playoffs. Despite what the standings say, the Kings are NOT an 8th seed team. San Antonio really got the short end of the stick. Imagine fighting for that top seed all year, and you end up facing a Kings team that has the 5th best record in the league since the Artest deal.

It'll be a tough series, but the Kings have a legitimate shot at advancing to the next roung.

Whoever the opponet may be the kings are a scary team to face, Bibby and Artest are a wicked combo. I see a good series going down and I cant wait!! Cant beat the NBA playoffs!
 
Yeah getting rid of the Serbia Slacker was the best thing we could have done for the team. Artest had brought heart and soal to the team
 
Hmmm... I think the Spurs are a pretty scary team. I would never want to face them. They know how to tighten down on teams as needed. I think the Kings beating the Spurs would be a MAJOR upset. I don't think the Spurs have played their best ball and they're still beating up on other teams for the most part. Every team can get a fluke win, but a team consistently beating the Spurs seems unheard of.
 
Of course the Spurs are scary. Their the defending Champs. I don't think anyone expects the Kings to take the series, but the timing is right. I don't think this team will be intimidated, though. They match up pretty well, all things considered.

Duncan will usually get his, no matter what. That's a given. As well as Parker is playing, Bibby can match his output. The Kings will now have 3 players in Rahim, Wells, and Artest that can defend well and have accpeted their roles. Bowen will not be able to get in the heads Artest and Wells which is usually the case against most other teams.

The wild card will be the play of Ginobili and how effective the bench will be. Ginobili is probably the most well rested star in the upcoming playoffs. He did not play many minutes during the regular season. If the Kings cannot contain him, the series will be over quickly. The Spurs will also expect decent production out of Finley and Van Exel. Rahim amazingly has accepted his role as a bench player, and really needs to make a statement in his first ever playoff appearance.

As far as beating the Spurs consistently. Detroit is 2-0 this season against them. With home court advantage throughout, I don't thnk anyone's gonna have a chance:p
 
Wow, really? He guaranteed they would move to the 2nd round? or did he mean a win in the first round series? :P

He's no sheed... how can he go around guaranteeing that stuff?
 
It was pretty nutty for him to make that guarantee, but there's no better time than now to do it. Whatever does happen, the Kings have already overachieved this year. Artest has been great during this whole honeymoon period. Hopefully, the Kings will be able to coexist in harmony next year when the expectations are greater.

Hopefully when tonights game is over someone will be saying about Duncan...

heh. It has been a surprisingly difficult series for the Spurs. I think Sacramento has been flawless in the last 2 games. I think one of the key factors comes down to whether or not they can keep shutting down Manu... The Spurs can't win with just Parker and Duncan scoring.
 
I don't understand the odds fully, but it looked like spurs by 9.5 or 8 pts.... They won by 11 :P

if i remember correctly odds by points is how many people are betting for or against a Team

Man what a game, they start off alright went good, then it went real bad and then it shined some hope and blew away....

There was WAYYY too many fouls in that game. It was insane.
Lets hope they do better at arco for game 6.
 
ohhh that sucks...I was really hopeing for the win. At least they didn't stink it up. I think the key is going to be to shut down
