Pleae make a suggestion

I'm starting a 75 gal reef that I plan to put acros, monti, rics, shrooms and clams in. I got a Mag 7 driving the return from the sump, but there isn't as much flow as you'd expect due to some connections in the cabinet I made for water changes and a fuge.

I'm considering getting a stream 6000 for more flow. I've got a 3" sand bed and was wondering if the 6000 will kick the sand up. Also, would you recommend a second 6000 with multi controller for some good flow patterns? Could I accomplish the same thing with 1 Seio and a 6000 to reduce cost? I'm just having a hard time making a decision.

You could certainly get just one but if you want really random flow you would need two and the multicontroller and you would just run one at a time. How much sand will be disturbed is hard to predict, it depends on rock layout, positioning and age of the sand bed. I think it is safe to say their will be some disturbance. The Seio couldn't work with our controller so it really ouldn't be the same but you may be able to get an effect that suits you. I would just get one 6000 and no controller, see what you think and then decide on a controller and possible second unit.
