I have a 15g (24x12x12) with 30lb of LR and an aquaticlife mini skimmer.

I have had a pair of A. Ocellaris (male 1.5 in, female 2 in) for about 3 months and was wondering if I could add an Orange Lined Cardinalfish (Apogon cyanosoma)? Thanks!

sure---the clowns will stick to themselves and so will the cardinalfish.

My tank has been established about 2 months is this going to be a problem for the RBTA? I have heard 6 months is the mark for an anemone but then have seen others add them in earlier with no problem.
The elegance's skeleton is placed right into the sand and not near any danger :) I'm hoping it will survive.

rbta's are alot hardier then reefers give them credit for. I would be more worried about the long term survival of the elegance coral in a new tank.
How adept are you at your water changes. If you do consistent weekly or bimonthly water changes and are good at matching up the water chemistry then you should be fine with an anemone.

75g, ive already split them up... they werent getting along and i didnt want either to be hurt. The atlantic blue is in my 37g bow for now.. i know he will get pretty big but i plan on going with a huge tank within the next year. The atlantic is pretty aggressive tho...

Hi All

I am planning a 40G with 10G sump mixed reef. I will be over skimming with a Bubble King Mini 160 and running Rowaphos & Carbon. Could you please advise on my wish list:

Banggai Cardinal x 2
Flame Hawk
Purple Firefish
Scarlet Skunk Cleaner Shrimp
Nemo x 2

I realize the hawk may go for the shrimp but what if I get a small hawk and large shrimp?

Thanks to all in advance!

either of them could become aggressive in a 75 gal tank, I don't think you will get a year out of the 37gal before you have to move that tang

good list. I have a couple of flame hawks and they have never bothered with my shrimp.

Just double checking....but I can pretty much keep whatever I want in my 540g tank right? Right now I have about a dozen mixed damsels, a yellow tang, stripped dogface puffer, spotted puffer, and green spotted puffer. I really want to add about 10 more various tangs... You think I'll have an aggression issue?

29g FOWLR

wish list:
green chromis x 2
black ocellaris clown x 1
yellow tang (1.5") x 1
cleaner shrimp x 1

The chromis will most likely end up being just one.

Would get 2 B&W O's.

There is no way you should put a tang in a 29 gallon -- unless it is a QT.

So far I have: 1 cb shrimp, 8 small turbo's, 4 small blue leg hermits, cheato, and a couple of sml snails and pods that have shown up in the fuge. Im hoping the pods are good ones. They are clearish gray and look like centapedes, maybe half inch length

What I have in my head, but may change with advice or research...
1 or 2 starfish, another shrimp not another cb, a few more crabs/snails (only as needed)
2 clowns, 1 angel, 1 sml blue hippo tang, 1 cbb, and a few misc very small fish

I have a 75g with 100lbs LR, no sump or refugium, and a 3 inch sand bed. I currently have:

1 virigate rabbit
1 tomato clown (hosting very nicely in a bubble tip)
1 bangaii
1 bristle tail filefish
1 false lemon peel/heraldi? angel (had i read the forum sooner i would not have purchased due to the catching practices, however mine appears to be fine for now)

Mostly soft corals, a few nassarius, ceriths, turbos, astareas, and two fighting conchs.

What other fish would be suitable for this aquarium? I would like another pseudo large fish if possible, but I know this would drastically lower the total number of fish in the aquarium. Any Suggestions?

I agree with Todd---and thanks for helping out on the thread Todd

Other suitable fish for a 29gal which I have had personal success with
fairy wrasse
2 bangii cardinals
2 fire gobies
yellow watchman gobi/pistol shrimp combination
coral beauty angel
2 purple anthias
pajama cardinal
bicolour dottyback

not with that size of tank--on a much smaller tank I would suggest to add the yellow tang last, it probably being the most agressive. It might give a few shots to some tangs as an initiation but you have lots of space so I would not worry

your tank is way too small for a blue hippo tang---that is a 12 inch fish as an adult and needs alot of swimming room for long term health.

you might have problems with another shrimp and the coral banded--they can get real nasty to other shrimp

How about a tang---yellow, mimic or kole tang?
