Please help diagnose symptoms

Hi all,
I was hoping somebody could help me.
For the last eight days my yellow tang, regal tang and goby have been flashing against the rocks.(particularly the yellow tang) I have been reading up about symptoms but I am finding it hard to diagnose with any degree of certainty.
The regal tang did have two very tiny white spots on it's body which have left after about 3 days which could suggest ich (cryptocaryon).
The regal tang now has whitish patches on its skin but are very faint and could just be marks from scrachin on the rocks. They could also be an indication of velvet (oodinium) getting established on the skin although other symptoms like rapid gill movement are not obvious.
I cannot see any white spots on the other 2 fish but the yellow tang does seem to have some very tiny brownish spots by its dorsal fin. These are extreamly tiny almost impossible to see. The fish are otherwise healthy and all water perameters are stable with the exception of carbonate hardness which was down to 6 dkh (2.14 meq/l) when I checked it. I have rectified this over the last few days.
The other fish do not appear to be effected ( 2*clowns, 2*neon damsels)
The clowns (Oscelaris) have even reproduced during this period.

Nitrate 0
Amonia 0
Alkilinity 8dkh (2.86)* This is its normal range* ( Could a drop in alkilinity be a clue? )
Calcium 410 mg/l
Salinity 1.025
ph 8.25-8.45

I am afraid that this is the beginning of velvet or possibly Brooklynella even though all symptoms are not present. I am contemplating hyposalinity treatment but I am afraid this might be an over-reaction. I am also afraid of doing nothing.
Photos would not be of any use as the symptoms would not be captured on my camera.

I would appreciate any advice or tips you might have to treat or at lease diagnose this problem accuratly.

I set up this system in june 2007 and have had no health problems until now. The regal tang was introduced 6 weeks ago.

ps sorry for the long post

Move the fish to quarantine tank and then treat with a combination of
Prazipro for parasites(flukes), and Cuparmine for Ich.

Avi .... it's a 300g reef set up.
My sump is in two parts: 70g and 10g. I have already moved the three effected fish to the 70g section which I can isolate from the rest of the system if I decide to treat them.
What do you think?

Regalangel,
I'm guessing Cuparmine is a brand of copper based medication.
Prazipro? Is this a product name or the active ingrediant. It would be hard for me to get exact same product in my LFS.

Praziquantel is the name and it can be obtained:

In PraziPro by Hikari

Seachem Cupramine:

The 70g if isolated will need to have biofiltration to take care of ammonia buildup...can't use amquel/prime with cupramine.

Thanks for the links. I will purchase these and have them on the ready but I am still unsure what I am trying to treat.
As medications are not perfect and can be stressfull to fish do you think I should hold off with treatment untill I know exactly what I am dealing with.

I was able to get a real good look at the fish today with a magnifying glass.
The marks by the dorsal fin of the yellow tang are only shading where the boney part of the fin meet the body. The regal tang does have white spots but the other two are clear of any physical symptoms besides scratching.
