PLEASE HELP! - Free puppies due to be put down

Can you pass this along to anyone looking for a puppy?
Rescued 6 black lab (mix) puppies out of the middle of the road on
Saturday. PLEASE help find them homes - otherwise, it's Animal Control
- which means they only have 5 days. We've bathed them, sprayed them
for fleas and wormed them....but we can't keep them. They are currently in a kennel in my basement since I don't have a fence. I've lost count of the number of rescue groups that I've contacted, only to be turned down due to no room.

Please check with every dog person you know to see if they need a puppy.

I heard about this on the radio this morning on the way to work. Whoever did this to these poor puppies should be arrested. I really hope these puppies find a home. I'll pass this thread around!

You could also try Craigslist. Always a lot of people on there looking for puppies.

I can think of something other than arrested...put them in a freaking box in the middle of the skyway.

This went around our office late yesterday, when someone contacted the "owner" to see if they could get one they said they were all spoken for. Since this is still circulating I am not sure if people backed out or what happened.

Well, it's good to know that they are spoken for. This happened on Saturday, and seems to just be getting out to people. I heard this first on teh Score AM 670 this morning. I'm just glad it's getting out to people, so these little guys can get a good home!

Where were these puppies located? Dark Lord Coral wasn't the one that had them, I don't believe. I could be wrong though.

Volunteering for a rescue for the last 5yrs I've seen real cases just like this. I am however happy to say that this is in fact a hoax. Please see the below link to snopes.

I just don't get these stupid hoaxes...I mean, I understand virus emails and phishing...but what exactly does the originator get from sending this and having it forwarded around?

You mean that I have been asking every one that I know if they would take a pup and this is all BS? Now I am going to be the one looking like an "A hole"!

That really aggrivates the hell out of me. That is well beyond an april fools joke. Feeding on the decency and kindness of people just for a meaningless chuckle is beyond low.

This kind of cr*p is where I get my low opinion of the general public. This is the kind of thing that makes me want to bring public stoning back from the dark ages for punishment.
