Please help ID spot on maroon

Hello Everyone,

I noticed this spot on my maroon. Not sure what it is, doesn't llok like ich but more like a zit on the side of it. Any info appreciated.

Looks like a wound, possibly from a tank mate?

Seems like a plump specimen, it is part of a breeding pair?

All of the other tank mates seems to leave him alone that I know of. Maybe from rocks? Yeah, very recently he has been putting on the size and belly, is it possibly turning female?

If that maroon is solo, I would suspect it is well on the way to Female

Woohoo! Yes, it is currently by itself with its anemone. When would be a good time to introduce a male? Or is that a bad idea?

Its funny how its belly so big. I only feed a couple times a day lightly.

I sure hope that booboo heals.

Certainly could be, could also be egg bound, etc., etc......

Best to monitor and post some closeups at some point
