So after getting ICK in my main system and losing half the fish, everything that is going in that system is going to be quarantined.
Currently the survivors are in a quarantine tank and the display tank is about a month into being fallow. I never want this to happen again (knew I was playing an odds game and finally lost), but after reading and reading about quarantineing procedures, I am horribly confused.
The fish I want to eventually get for that system which is a 150gallon along with the survivors are these:
- Indigo Hamlet (loved that fish... crushed that my stupidity killed him)
- Scopas Tang
- Lemonpeel Mimic Tang
- Pink Margin Wrasse female and male.
Do I just treat all of them with Cupramine as soon as they settle in? But I hear that wrasses have trouble surviving that... Do I also soak their food in Prazipro during this quarantining procedure? What else should I treat for? I am afraid of just observing them because ICK can be in their gills so I can't see it....
Please help! The survivors after treatment are the marine betta, pink spotted goby, and yellowbelly hamlet. I also have a DD pair of clownfish in quarantine that will eventually go into that system too...
