Please Help Moving Snails

I have several hundred baby astrea snails (approximately 1/8" and smaller) in a tank. I want to move them to another tank. However, my attempts to get them out without squishing them or removing them from their shells and killing them have failed.

Does anyone have any ideas I can try short of waiting until they get much larger? Thanks!

take a razor blade, and try to make the snail hide in the shell, then angle it against the glass, push down then try to wedge it under the snail to pop it off

Thanks mr pink floyd.... I was thinking of trying that but hadn't quite got there yet. Thought as small as they are I might cut their feet off or something and maybe someone had a slick trick to try. I probably better at least wait until the effects of coffee wear off before attempting it.
