Please help. My mature and mated Clarkii is very sick. Thank you.

The first week he was having swim bladder trouble then we fed him garlic extract with his food and he seemed to be better the second week. It's now the third week and he has not been eating over the last 3 days.

Now his swim bladder is better but not perfect and one of his eyes is bulging.

I do have a 10 gallon tank not in use at the moment but not sure if it's something that can be treated.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

i would try and anti biotic like maracyn 2

Have you been netting the fish? I would also try a good antibiotic such as Maracyn-Two (use double the dose in full strength saltwater). Change some water each day before adding the next dose. Nitrofurazone and Furanase are two other choices, but you dose them differently.
