please help! tips of acro dying!

that's what I am using, so I have'nt tested for mag due to the fact I thought it should be fine. However, I just got a test kit, so I can confirm or eliminate! Thanks!
 
That doesn't sound low to me at all. 7 - 9 DKH was what I always thought was considered in the "good" range. Depending on your calc, the alk may actually be a little high to be considered "balanced". I got this table of balanced calc/alk from a reef website. I can only assume that it is accurate :

I ordered the test over the internet, so I will not get it until wednesday. However, I use Tropic Marine Pro reef & C-balance 2 part, and LFS states that mag shouldn't be the problem. I will check it, however, as soon as it coomes in!
