Beware, there is a lot of comentary on salinity. While 1.025 might be the best it is realative to temp. Do a internet search, there is a lot out there. As the heat goes up the relative salinity changes. So a tank kept at 1.023 @ 75degF (33.4ppt) is not the same as a tank kept at 1.023 @ 82degF (34.7ppt). That is why most hydrometers reference the temperature the measurment was calibrated for. That is mainly because hydrometers measure density not salinity
