Please help!!!!!

Those pics dont look too bad. Dont throw anything out, even if they are all white and look dead. I've had things come back from a single polyp before, dont give up on them. Water change good idea. Yeah your levels are a little low but that wouldnt make anything happen over night. Any cleaning products or air sprays used around the tank the day before this happened?

I'll hope for the best with them however my confidence in them coming back is very slim considering as there aren't any polyps period.

As for cleaning products or anything of the sort; the room is kinda a "man cave" so the agreement with the g/f is that as long as i clean the room i can have as many tanks as i want lol

Thanks for all the posts...keeping my fingers crossed

Panic is your biggest enemy. Relax those corals don't look that bad. I'd slowly raise ca and mg levels but I don't think that is your problem.

Some things to consider:
Did you have any parties lately where someone could have dropped something in the tank?
Any kids around that could have done the same?
I'd take a close look at your heaters to make sure they are still water tight.

+1. with exception of the one on the sand bed the rest dont look too bad. I would do a water change, run some carbon and wait it out.

Yeah panic is definitely an evil evil thing, As for the things to consider - no parties, no kids (i wish i could have someone to blame lol)

I checked the heater twice and it looks fine, i'm considering changing it anyway.

I'm running a polypad and some carbon (polypad is a light light green)

I took out the one from the sand bed and i took out the chili pepper because over night they went from a hazy color to a solid white.

as for the other sps corals, they are still showing some color so i'm leaving them but definitely no improvements.

i'm afraid ive also seen some changes in my LPS and zoas. They are slightly opened but dont look happy at all. My 2 hammers and frogspawn have yet to open since this all has started.

Still keeping my fingers crossed

Are you saying the polypad turned light green or it was that color to begin with? If i'm not mistaken when they turn green it indicates copper.

it started white then turned light green. From what i understood from the package light green is organic acid - i would venture to guess from the death of some of the corals perhaps

Copper is like an orange color for this particular pad

OK, so its been a few days and the tank is settling however i'm still not seeing any improvement in coral extension. any ideas as to a time frame? i know its a slow process but i feel that there is a fine line between waiting too long and being patient.

If those test results are after the 30% water change, then the values were probably much lower than they should have been. If Ca was less than 350 and alk was low, many corals could have ceased calcification.
