Please Help!

I have a 4-year-old 30-gallon BioCube. I have been dealing with Aiptasia and what I assume to be Majano anemones for some time and they are starting to get out of control. They are starting to even cover the sand bed. I have PLENTY of flow, one EcoTech Wavemaker, and 2 270gph powerheads.

I have tried Aiptaisa X, Peppermint Shrimp, a Majano Wand (which seems to make them worse)

pH: 8.3
Temp: 78.5 F
Salinity: 1.026
Alk: always between 9-10 dKh
Nitrite, Ammonia: Both 0ppm
Nitrate: 1-2ppm
Phosphate- less than 1ppm
Calcium: 450ppm
Magnesium: 1250

quite a range of phosphate there.. Less than 1ppm could be considered HIGH depending on how less than 1ppm it is..
Many shoot for .03ppm...

Tried a matted filefish?

+1 for the Matted File Fish. I have had for at least a couple years and it took care of all my Majano and will probably go after the Aptasia

I haven't tried a filefish, I was told my tank may be too small.

A 30 gallon is the minimum tank size for matted filefish so you should be fine. If anything you can just remove it after it’s demolised all the pests.

Do be cautious with the filefish as they can go after corals as well as aiptasia. With a 30 gallon tank I would seriously consider getting new rock, cycling it in a separate container and replacing all your rock and sand.

What other livestock do you have? Depending on your current stock, you could use berghai nudibranchs. They are obligate aiptasia eaters. They are expensive and I don’t think they touch mojanos though.

I have a BTA, some Zoas, candy cane coral, ultra acan frag and two clowns

I'd also suggest adding a matted file fish. You can always remove it down the road.
