Please HELP!!

I have a Powder Blue Tang and it looks like he has ick really bad. I'm going to the store to get some medicine for the tang tommorrow. Is there anything that i can do to help it its hiding alot and i'm really worried. I tried garlic I dont know what to do please help.

Unfortunately, none of the store bought bottled "cures" work with any consistancy, so I'd advise against wasting a lot of money. There are two known effective treatments for ich; hyposalinity and copper. Neither can be done in a reef tank nor are they safe with inverts. You'd do best to have a quarantine tank to treat any fish exposed. This parasite has a defined life cycle which must be broken or the fish will simply become reinfected over and over.
