When I added this to my tank about 10 months ago, it looked like a mini green anemone and moved around my tank (120 gallon) twice till it settled where you see it. After a few months the tentacles became "fuzzy" looking. A couple of months ago it split into 2 and now there are 4. What is it and how can I move it?

I concede that your google skills are far better than mine.

I believe it is the Thalassianthus aster. AKA Fuzzy tipped anemone; imagine that.

Any information on this would be appreciated. All google hits come back in German or French. Google translate sort of works but would like a better link.

I came across the same info but all it says is that I should get rid of it. I touched it today and it was pretty sticky but no sting whatsoever.
