My bulb combo consists of 6 Ati Blue+, 2 Ati AB special and 2 Aquascience 15000 K (whick is also white imo)

I was a T5 rookie, changing over to T5 from MH over my new tank - I learned so much over there...and whatever GrimReffer says - you can bank on it...

the neon will change every 6 months.
Now I'm using 6 spezial and 2 ATI blue plus 1 fiji 1 KZ AND Sfiligoi Actinic.

It's not better, it's different. Both can have success. I had T5's before, now i have halides. I think if i were to do it again i'd go t5's but that's me personally. i know other reefers who use MH like them better than T5's. Both have pro/cons.
