I didnt see this white spot on the side of his chin when I got him. Its kinda big, and its the only white spot on him. Do you think its just coloring? This is the best picture I could get. I saw him rubbing the OTHER side of his face in the sand, not the side with the white spot. So I got kinda worried. He kinda freaks out and jerks back and forth, and then rubs his face in the sand. I have only seen him do this twice in 72 hours. And this is my first clown, so I am not sure if thats just normal behavior or what.

It's not good. The other white flecks are probably copepods on your glass. The white spot on the gill cover, if that's what we're supposed to be diagnosing, seems diffuse: it could be brook rather than ich. That's a bacteriological problem rather than a parasite, as I recall. Can you try for a more definitive picture?

If that spot is on him, the first thing to do is get him to quarantine, and try to photograph him with better light. The treatment for brook is different from ich, and it is minor at the moment, but may not be minor within 24 hours. If brook, you'll want to get an antibiotic and treat in a bare tank without carbon filtration for the full course of the antibiotic [that's important]. For ich, of course, either hypo or copper, but you cannot combine these treatments, so it's important to be right the first time.

Here is another one, I am still trying to figure out how to take pictures on glass... It really looks like a marking on the fish. Theres no bump, and no small dots. Just this large spot.

OMG!! I didn't even put two and two together! As soon as I read your post, I went back and sure enough... His other side is fully filled in, all the way down. And the side that I was freaking out over and thought it was ich... wasent filled all the way in... What a relief! Thank you!!

Ich is a bit more like a dust than a large spot. I think to me that looks like his coloring starting to fill in.

There are other things it could be but they aren't really in the same shape, pattern, or bright coloring like that

I agree that it it a Mis-Barring. His stripe is not complete and may never be. IMO, It's nothing to worry about. It's a feature, not a flaw!
