I just bought a ReefLink and Radion Xr15w. Ive tried setting up the Reeflink with both a mac and a PC, and nothing. On the Mac, it never gets past "Please wait a moment while your ReefLink initializes..." on the PC, "Reeflink setup has stopped responding" and shuts down. Ive tried power cycling countless times, did a reset on the back off the reeflink... unistalled and reinstalled... still getting stuck on the same screens. What gives?

We had some server trouble today and had to rebuild our cloud. We apologize for the inconvenience. Chances are that you were trying to setup your ReefLink during the outage. EcoSmart Live is now online so please try the setup process again.

Yup, that was it. It is working well now! However, I just realized that the Radion was damaged in shipping (one of the fan blades is broken, and rattling around inside the housing). Ive contacted the retailer, is there anything I need to do with Ecotech to speed up the process or should the retailer just send out a replacement?

My ReefLink is nothing but trouble. Works only when it wants to, which is probably 10% of the time.

I've just had to factory reset it AGAIN, and was asked to download the Connection manager which has been updated in Dec 2016. Now it's just stuck on Please wait a moment while your ReefLink initializes...

Definitely worst product EchoTech have. Kind of ruins the whole experience of the other products!

The Connection Manager and ReefLink are two separate products. If you plan to use the Connection Manager, then the ReefLink isn't necessary and vice versa. If you want to setup your ReefLink, you must close the Connection Manager and use the ReefLink Setup app on your computer.
