Ploy Extension questions

Hi I have 3 leathers,
1) Light brown with white polyps
2) Dark Brown with brown polyps
3) Brown with green ploy


They seem to be growing But lately I never see the polyps extended.
The person I got the frags from in this tank the Polyps were extended.
I have had them for about 6 months.
They have doubled in size..
I dont have any direct flow on them, my tank size is 29 gal i have about 26X flow in the tank..

What could be the problem.. I would like to see the Polyps ..

does it always have a waxxy film on it? do the stems of them have red or purple build up?

Some leathers will go through a period of no polyp extension. I have seen it last for up to a couple weeks. Afterward I'd notice a decent amount of noticeable growth. If there are no visual signs of damage and your water quality is doing well, then I wouldn't worry.

can you post any pics of the corals?

have you looked in off photo-period?

where was the original seller and what photoperiod was he running versus yours? e.g. 12PM to 12AM vs. 12AM to 12PM.

they've doubled in size relative to when they were in the other tank (and expanded/extended) or just when you received them?
