After messing with the polyclad flatworms in my tank for several months, I got fed up.  I went and brought Salifert Flatworm Exit to give it a try.  Knowing it was designed for the small "red bug" flatworms, i figured they're all Planaria,  so why not.  I put the drops in the tank, and let it soak for around 4 hours.  I did a 25% water change and started charcoal.  Two days later I have yet to find a flatworm.  Hopefully this pain in my butt, killer of snails is gone.  If somehow they have lived through this, I will welcome freshwater fish again......
On a side note, the Flatworm exit also killed many, if not all of my bristleworms. I will have to get some more to re-populate my tank.
