Plumbing a New Sump (Trigger Systems - CRYS30E)

Couple of questions -

How do people typically plumb a herbie overfow to a sump(CRYS30E) with two inputs? (Tried to link to a top down view of the sum below)

This sump has a seperate chamber that serves as a refugium - it will require a seperate supply. Can I tee from my return or drain lines with a Herbie system?

Either. It's still going to be a loop for the little micro critters IMO. I'd personally tee from drain line. My sump is a trigger systems ruby 36

Ive read that the herbie system can be difficult to tune if the drain or return lines are split.

Any experiences?
