Plumbing advice

Does anyone own a 50g cube tank that can take a picture of their plumping from the bulk head to the sump using the Herbie method?
I think I have mapped it out but wanted to make sure I didn't forget anything before gluing the pvc pipes in.

I have the LEFT hole as the emergency; center- return; right- drain.
Emergency is 1" below the overflow teeth and drain is 7" below the overflow teeth. Drain pipe has a strainer on it.

From the bulkheads, all three has unions... Then the emergency pipe has 2 x 45" to get it to the chamber behind the skimmer on the left side of the sump. The drain pipe is the same with 2 x 45" to get it to the same chamber but I have a ball valve right after the union from the bulkhead.
The return pipe is from the bulkhead to union to 1 x 45" to get it to the return pump where it is to the barb fitting and then using the plastic hose to connect to the pump. I did "Tee" after the union from the bulkhead to a ball valve just in case I need to add a reactor. No ball valve here or do I need?

If anyone can post their plumbing.. That would help and let me know from the above if this makes sense. Thanks in advance.

I'm also planning my plumbing so will be following this thread closely.

What's the purpose of having a ball valve here?

I did "Tee" after the union from the bulkhead to a ball valve just in case I need to add a reactor. No ball valve here or do I need?

This looks like good preplanning that I didn't think of! Interested in more experienced reefer's replies.

You should be able to find tons of pictures on google images..

personally I recommend everyone do a bean animal type overflow.. Its hands down the best system to run.. needs 3 pipes though..
if you have the chance and don't mind just doing an over the back return then I'd suggest switching to that..

+1 for the BA. I have a BA plumbed into my 40 breeder with an external overflow, and it is completely silent, and safe, just as BA himself said.

Can you post some pictures of what you have now? It would be helpful.

Thanks for the reply. Cant do the BA as I have a rimless 50 gallon tank and I would like the clean look.
Here is a picture of my layout. I will be added/changing:
1. ball valves to gate valves
2. adding a gate valve to the return line after the ball valve ( this goes to a future reactor)
3. will it be OK to have the emergency pipe go to the return chamber of the sump? Only drawback I see is that the trickling water will not go thru the skimmer/refugium so the water will not be that clean?
