I'm looking for ideas on Plumbing a refugium, basically whats best to use, PVC Hard Pipe, Flex Line...
I have a 120 Dual Overflow that I will be hooking into a 30 - 40 gal refugium.. Planning on using a 1262 Eheim Return pump...Externally so as to keep heat a non-issue..

I want to know more about adjustable valves and the use of check valves and where to put them, if I need them.... Photos would be good

Let me know what works and what doesn't pics of the drains & returns would be nice..

I have the tank ready to go, just need to pick up the refugium and get the lines ready to go....

Thanks

Are you able to dump your overflow straight to the sump? If you can, then that will be the best way to go. You won't need any valves, except for the return from the pump. One will be right after the bulkhead out of the sump, then you will need another right after the return pump. It's pretty simple, all you will really need to do, is be able to close the sump, and close the return, the overflow will quit flowing on its own.
