Plumbing Question

I am still debating between PVC and flexible tubing for my new tank plumbing. I was going to use all rigid PVC, but then there isn't really any way for my to get it off the tank when I move it to the house from the garage.

If I were to go with some flex tubing like this would I just use PVC glue to attach it to a threaded PVC piece? I'd be able to unscrew it from my tank in this case. I haven't found flex tubing that has threaded ends on it.

Thanks.

Why not flex tubing to a hose barb and clamp it so you and just unclamp it and pull it off the barb when you move it. Sometimes with aquarium plumbing the simpler the better.

Ah, yeah. I was worried that one of those might leak if the pressure got too high. You think a barb, plus a clamp would be fine?

It would certainly be easier, because I could just screw the threaded end of the barb into the bulkhead, with some of the plumbers tape stuff in the threads. Thanks James.
