hi folks,
Iam in the process of doing some plumbing to my system, and was wondering if a "CHECK VALVE" although a good and safe investment might limit or restrict the flow. has anyone experienced loss in rate of flow by using it? any other suggestions if I dont go that way?

thanks!

IME, the only thing a check valve will do is fail when you need it.
Drill yourself a pair of syphon break holes, and make sure you keep them clean. Also, make sure that you have more than enough room in your sump to hold any water that might syphon back.
