Plumbing Question

i would not suggest drawing water from the 30 as a main return. you said that the 55 is behind the wall correct. is there not enough room to put the 30 over the 55?. the last drawing is the 30 gravity drains into the 55 where both pumps would be located together. the easiest way to explain is that the pumps need to be loacted in the same water column. in the drawing some water will go through the fuge and main flow would be through the sump but both pumps will be located a returning water from the same source. just think of the fug as part of the sump but not. give me a call tonight and will see what we can come up with

cool to see the pics. the only way i can see you not buying a new pump is to raise the fuge above the sump behind the wall and drain one return into the sump and drain the other into the fuge and sump and use one pump to return to the left side return and use the other to return to the right side.

this setup gets my vote for best choice, Id go for one mag pump though, maybe trade the two 5s for a 12 or so.
