Plumbing ?s

Ok I am planning on setting up my 75 before long and I have some ?s on the plumbing. First here is the plan. I havent bought a sump yet but I have a 29 that will work. I have a 30g breeder that I want to use also. I want to use it as a refugium with a DSB. I was thinking of building a stand for it so that it would be a little higher than the 75 and gravity feed back into the 75. So here is how it would go,

water goes from tank to sump were the skimmer is. A mag 12 will than lift it approx 6 ft into the fuge. Then it will flow back into the tank from the fuge.

Does this make since? I dont know a whole lot about this kind of thing. The best I can figure using the head loss calc I might get 700-800gph into the fuge. Is that to many? Not enough?

Let me know if anyone has ideas.

Thanks

Sounds good to me. The skimmer will have it's own feed pump right?? Some fge's are built into the sump, But I think they are restricked so as not to take the full load of volume.

Does anyone else have any input??

To be perfectly honest .... a DSB under 40g is too small. At least that's what I've read and understand to be correct.

It sounds like a sound plan, except 700gph through a fuge that small seems a bit high. You might want to have two returns (one to the fuge, one to the display).
It would be wise to also listen to the Capo on the size of your DSB. I realize you have limited space under the tank, but the largest DSB you can get would work the best.
