Plumbing Set-up-New 220

Ladies, Gents,
I am setting up a new 220 reef with corner overflows. My equipment list comprises:

1)Aquatinics 14 Bulb T5 Light
2)Proclear 300 Wet Dry
3)MRC Protien Skimmer
4) Blue Line and Gen X pumps
5) 40 Watt Aqua UV Sterilizer
6) Heaters
7) Tunze 6100 power heads for in tank circulation.

I am struggling with the plumbing configuration, ie, what gets connected to what. I was planning to have the overflows pour into the wet dry. Two bulkheads would then be in the sump. One would flow to thw Skimmer and return skimmed water back to the Wet dry. The other bulhead would flow to the UV and , once sterized, back into the 2 return lines and then deposited back into the tank.

Does this sound ok, sub-optimal or just ahhhhhhh.

Does anyone have a suggestion. Was even thinking of turning my wet dry into a sump but have yet to research how to do that yet..
Thanks so much for your assistance. So do appreciate it and love this hobby.

John...I would not use bioballs with a reef tank. My recommendations: 1.)Join Reef Central so you can use search function. 2.)Search and read posts about reef filtration systems, ie live rock, live sand, etc. 3.) Search and read posts about bioballs in reef systems. 4.) Check out www.melevsreef.com and read about sumps and refugiums. Study first and you will like your reef a lot more. JMHO.

You state that you have corner overflows- Which I read as 2, one in each corner. Sooooo, have one overflow drain down into you wet/dry. Remove the bioballs and put in some live rock rubble in their place. The rest of the space can now hold your skimmer, heater, c reactor, and any/all other equipment. The other overflow/ drain will drop down into a refuge. Buy a small 30-40 acrylic tank for this and make your own baffles to set it up. Now put one 1.5 inch bulkhead at the end of sump and refuge. Run an external pump and push water back up into tank through pvc flextube. You will need to put gate valves- 1) before refuge 2) before sump 3) after refuge but before external pump 4) after sump but before external pump. It is also smart to TEE the overflow/drain line going into refuge over to the sump also. That way you can slow the water flow that goes through the fuge. Also smart to TEE the external pump return line and run a loop back to the sump. This will correct a pump with a gph rating that is too much gph. So, you would have a fuge with 1 line in, 1 line out. A sump with 3 lines in, 1 line out. This would be a basic design, you can customize from there...
