Plump polyps

First time (and last) I've seen this coral having this plump polyps, just sharing...

It usually happens early in the photo cycle when they are still feeding for me. Nice pictures and thanks for sharing :thumbsup:

I have no idea, it was one of the frag pack I received from Dr.Mac a while back. It turned out to be a nice piece. Slow grower and hardy...it seems. Pics were taken in the daytime under 250W MH with actinic supplement. No, it was not feeding time when I took the pics. Never seen it like that again.
 
how come the two pic, the sps look so different? the last one look so deep/intense with purple/valvet and the first two seems light brown. Has it color up and a later pic?
 
I can't explain that. The first two pics are more recent. I think because I had ammonia spike due to clam death. The color is back to normal dark bluish now but I don't see that polyp extension anymore. Maybe it's the ammonia spike????
