PM identified?

On my local reef club, there was a power buy on some croceas, and almosts every one died, and took every clam in the tank with them (Quarantine people!). ANyway, one of the members contacted Barry at CD, and he "inferred" the pathogen that cuases PM has been identified. Has anyone heard any news of this?

Where? I know what PM is, and know that Barry was working towards solving it, I just heard rumors of progress. Can you point to where it is posted here?

Thanks for the link. That one just describes what Barry is trying to do to cure PM, but I didnt find any current updates as to the progress- thats why I asked. I know some people here are a little tighter with Barry than me, so I was just curious if any progress was made in the research itself.

I think I posted this in another thread, but wouldn't it be interesting if we find out that what causes PM is the same pathogen that's been attacking Elegance corals?

I would doubt that, being so different animals, but I guess its possible.
