pod/ breeding tank help

i just started a small 10 gal tank to breed pods grow macros and hopefully breed mysis/white shrimp.

her is pic of tank after adding rublle lr and live sand full of pods as well as calpura.

and now on week 3 before i introduce shrimp i took a look at some water samples and found this. cant't tell if its a pods or a juvenille shrimp? its about 2.5 mm long
pictures taken trough microsope at 60x.

i dont know if this belongs in the advanced user section? im not really an advanced user ?
 
Hopefully, fish is not in the same tank, as the pods. :D

I would remove sponge prefilter, or you will need to clean it frequently. I have/and had similar setups with powerfilter without sponge prefilter - as long as mysids or amphypods have hiding places, all will be OK. I am feeding mine, but could be other standard operating procedure, that I don't know yet. I didn't added pods starter culture - they developed on their own as LR hitchhikers, after I started feeding tank.

Your pod on macro-photos looks like amphypod to me, they are capable to eat quite big pieces of blended grocery seafood, size of it's head.
