Pods?

So i have a RSM 250. I do not have a fuge. I have about 70lbs worth of live rock, and a 1" sand bed.

My real question is how do i know if i have enough pods? is there any type of test i could do to see if my pod population is good or not? :bounce3:

Best bet is to check the glass on your tank and once you start to notice white specs on the glass thats when you know you have a great pod population. You probably have some know but if you want to add a pod dependent fish you would want to wait until you see the white specs that look like sand on the glass.

A 65 gallon with no fuge isn't going to keep a steady supply of pods for long with fish in there eating them. Dragonets eat a pod every 5 seconds, all day long. Scooters are easier to get eating prepared foods like frozen & pellets, but they still need lots of pods. What other fish are you planning to keep? Most eat pods, especially wrasses.
