Pods

What is the best way to get pods from my fuge to the main tank. The pods seem to be doing well and I just want to resupply the tank for my Spotted Mandarin. He seems happy and fat. I want to keep him that way.
If anyone is looking for pods, let me know. We might be able to trade/sell for them. These are Copepods. Not much more than a little white dot swimming in my fuge.

Not to hijack here, but is there a good way to automate getting them into the display without destroying them? I've read some threads and didn't come away with any answer.

They are pods. Mysis are much larger and you can see their whole body. These are small and are hard to make out unless there is some light behind them. I've tried the airline siphon into a container and was looking for something else like Brab was asking about. I have read that they will find there way into the tank through the return pump. I was concerned about them getting damaged by the pump. I also hear about leaving PVC piping in the fuge and they will start to live in the pipe. Then take the pipe out and put it into the tank.
Thanks for the help.

well the best way to non destructively get pods from your fuge to your display is to have the fuge upstream of your display tank and simply flowing into it.. of course that means that your fuge has to be above your tank and most people want to hide theirs

anytime I see pods they are always bigger than any mysis shrimp, mysis look like a ball with a tail.Pods have a curved body and look like there on a bike when they are swimming.

I know what they look like,Im not saying your wrong, just the way u discribed them its hard to tell which one u were talking about.

You could try taking your macro algae and shaking it into a bucket. Then go through and pick out any macro that you don't want to find its way into the display and pour the pods/water into the display. I have also heard of people using a sponge to let the pods grow in and then squeeze it in the display tank.

Jeff,
I'm not sure what was wrong with the discription of the pods in my tank -"little white dot " -and I said they are hard to see without some light behind them. I was not sure if you knew the difference between Copepods and Amphipods which you discribed. That is why I posted melevsreef site. I learned many, many things from his site and when he spoke to the group. Thanks for the help anyway. And thanks for everyone elses who gave suggestions . There does not seem to be an easy way to make sure the supply of pods in my fuge get into the tank without some assists.
