Pohl's Coral Vitalizer-What is it?

It's an interesting thread, in this light ... no doubt about that.

Yup, there's a few folks I've heard are planning to try it, and whose take on it [esp after time] I'll be looking for too.

Very interesting indeed!

I haven't seen too many other people carrying it yet.

It would be interesting to see more results.

Big threads over on the zeo forum, seems to have lots of great results.

Its on my ZEO list when I get back from the states!

Most of the US ZEOvit distros have it, but you can always get some direct from Germany.

So this product actually affects the coral directly rather than alter the environment that the corals live in? When I tried the Zeovit, it was the tank conditions which changed, which let to the change in the corals as they adapted in the new environment. By the second month, I found that I had to quickly tweak that environment a bit more to compensate for undesirable changes. So this stuff works directly on the coral without adverse effects on the tank parameters/conditions? Well, UPS says it's comming in today, so I'll get a chance to test it out on a few frags. :D

I run Zeo and I will be ordering a bottle here in the next few days or so. Jeff aka gqjeff is sending me a two week sample so I can give it a try and see how things work out. Chances are I will love it :)

Hey Jim, when did you start cheating? Did you get tired of doing it the old fashioned way?:p

I don't know anything about the product "Coral Vitalizer".

Even ignoring the idea that folks might want to know what they are adding, what is it supposed to do?

FWIW, the compound that I have been considering may be susceptible to being skimmed out faster than would make it useful in some systems, and I'm still considering what to do about that.

Does anybody know af another site i can order some from? This site fliger linked is a pita to order somethong from.

Any zeovit carrier sells it.

Creetin - I never order online from finsreef, I just PM him here on RC and order stuff that way.

In my display tank I would only want the growth up to a certain point, so how about just not running the skimmer for the time period it takes to grow the corals to the point where you want them, then put the skimmer back on. Some people don't even run skimmers at all.

It also wouldn't surprise me that its the ZEO people since like them or not, its hard to deny that any other company out there does more with research specific to SPS.

With all due respect... have you done a market/research analysis? Can you provide any data to support this claim? What other companies did you research? I'd like to see the information upon which you base this comment. Please provide it at your leisure... TIA
