Poidog's 70g Tech Tank Build

Looks great man! I bet those clowns don't even know what to do with themselves with that size difference. Can't wait to see it mature.

looks awesome! Love the coloring from the lights. Do you think it's mostly from the 250watt phenoix bulb or is that "pop" from the t5's as well

PS, I decided to keep the six-line. He does have really good colors, and he was so damn cute looking up at me in the bucket, he had to go in. haha

It is mostly from the phoenix, but the t5s do give it a touch more blue.

I was going to get the ORA Hawkins they had too, since I lost my colony to RTN last night, but theirs was showing signs of RTN too. Its such a nice piece, but very very sensitive.

nice pick ups Eric! Hopefully you can grow that Bellina to a nice colony

Ya, I'm gonna try again. The last one I had in the nano grew to a nice size and then suddenly RTN'ed - something they are notorious for doing just out of the blue. So I'm gonna try again... it is a very beautiful coral.

I forgot to update that Jose, the blue spot jawfish has been MIA'ish since added to the tank last weekend. He bypassed his PVC condo when added to the tank, and went straight to the back. Since, he has made some burrows but has not come out, and has not eaten. You see him poke his head out once and a while, but he looks very stressed with white blotches on his face - could be scales missing from burrowing of the "disease" they get when stressed. I hope he makes it.....

Nice pick ups Eric, but just keep an eye out on your O. clown pair that they don't start picking on your snowflakes- they might be cool for now but evenually a war will start-

Nice additions, although that snowflake is doomed :(. Your pair is pretty mature already, as soon as they start spawning that little guy is toast.

Not necessarily, my clowns never paired up. All three are getting along great, swimming together, and even the female is twitching (being submissive), which is odd. I've seen tanks where there is one female and multiple males and all were a happy family. But I will watch for any problems and will be prepared to remove one if needed.

They may not be mated, but I promise you if they lived together in that nano that long they are a bonded pair. Good luck with it though, you know I love snowflakes!

The PAR readings are great too, I'm switching lighting soon so hopefully I'll have similar results! :)
