Point and shoot

My DSLR seems to have walked-off...right around the time my ex moved out. I'm not as in to taking pictures as I used to be. Most of the photos/videos I take now are more GoPro territory. I'm wondering if anyone has a suggestion on a decent point and shoot camera that will take better pictures under actinic lighting than my iPhone. I do not want to spend a ton of cash on another DSLR just to take aquarium pics.

Most brands have P&S's that shoot in RAW. This gives you the ability to adjust the white balance in post just as you could with your DSLR.

The Canon G series is really nice, if you like Canon. I loved my G10 until the tow truck driver stole it.

What you want is something that shoots RAW and ideally has manual exposure controls. Without RAW, you'll have a hard time getting your colors right under aquarium lighting.

I use a Canon SX50 HS. Incredible zoom, reasonable Macro, full manual controls, RAW, and just about fits in my pocket. (it will fit in my cargo style pockets) As a plus, it also fits in my wife's hands nicely, so now she has one too.
