Pokerstar monti placement?

I am running a 6 bulb T-5 fixture with a LED strip for supplemental lighting and the shimmer effect. The tank is a 90g with normal dimensions (48Lx24Dx18W). I just bought a pokerstar tonight and was wondering what placement would be best for color development. Right now I have it around the middle of the tank but I'm thinking based on reading I have done that I may need to move it higher.

When I had T-5's (6 bulbs) I had mines about half way. Then moved it in the upper 3rd of the tank and saw better colors. Right now I have radions and still have it in the upper 3rd of the tank.

I would slowly move it up so it can get use to the higher light.

What kind of lighting was it under before?
