Hey Joe, did a search on your name and found your thread. Have not had time to read all of it yet but those corals are nice! Love that efflo and the milli. How are the frags doing?

Just went back to see the pics...Does that efflo have yellow in it?

No yellow in the efflo but 10" from the surface below the 400 watts it might in a few weeks.. All the frags look great .. Your tank, setup and corals are outstanding

All made it and are out and eating like mad.. I did make a significant change in my photoperiod, im only running the lights 5 hrs a day. Some of the corals dont seem to agree with the intense lighting.. others seem to love it..

2:30, 2:45 and 3pm the halides come on, left to right.. at 7,7:30 and 8 they go off the same way.. actually an average of 4.75 hrs..

Wow those pics look great! FWIW I run my halides for 6 hours a day and I think its a little to much for some of them, I might dropped it down to 5. Is that a ORA pink birdnest? I just got one of those if it is, looks really nice. Love that efflo!!!! You ever frag it please put me on the list.

only 5-6 hours...i run mine 8 each starts ~30mins after the other and go off the same

Im tinkering with my lighting duration because I Ive some corals that seem to be unhappy with the 400 watt so Im cutting back some to see what happens.. Ive also seen Emmet' tank and WOW!! Great colors!!.. Ben, did you have any corals show stress or fading when you upgraded to the 400 watt??.. Do you have any recent FTS ?

Only coral i had an issue with was a Yellow Scroll type coral which is doing fine now...Most responded positively toward the increased lighting.
