Coral Rx or Revive by Two Little Fishies

Which Dip do you Like Better and Why?

Or are they the same thing?

Is they are not the same then how do the ingredients differ?

Does one of these Dips kill certain things while the other Dip does not and vice versa?

I ask because one person says he Dips all his Corals in both.

I have heard that Revive is the Least Stressful Dip for Corals but do not know if that is true or not. Plus if it is the least stressful I would assume that it is not as effective as stronger Dips.

I am most concerned about:

Zoanthid Spiders
Zoanthid Nudibranchs
Montipora Eating Nudibranchs

Is one of these Dips better than the others for these Pests.

I do want to kill all Pests just those would be the most important for me to eliminate because of all the Zoanthids and Montipora that I have.

If there is another Brand of Dip that you like please let me know as I am new to this and tell me why you like it.

Or tell me what Brands of Dips that you do not like and why.

I have used both. However, I find the Revive works faster. Wether thats because its stronger or because its just different, I don't know. But I figure if the coral can be in it a shorter time, thats probably better for the coral.

Bayer dips are better for killing pests. I use Bayer to kill pests and Revive after to rinse the corals and help them recover.

Whatever you use you still need to look for eggs which is the real issue with new corals. There is a product called "All Out" that claims to kill eggs (it says EGGS, which ones? who knows) but I'm skeptical it does.

PS. I don't think Revive advertises anywhere that it kills pest.

I've only used CoralRx. I first used it while transferring zoas, acans and other corals to the new tank. Killed red flatworms (planaria) with no problems. Unfortunately, it also killed various worms and pods.

Bayer insecticide seems to be working the best for bugs and worms. It has been said to be less stressful to corals but at the same time very effective.

I have seen pods still moving around after 10 minutes in Revive. It takes at least the 14+ minutes to kill some of them.
